Description: This class is an introduction to speaking/listening and writing Japanese, with particular emphasis on the conversational patterns that occur in everyday life. Students will also be introduced to life in Japan, and to Japanese customs and culture. The teacher will teach in English generally, so students need no Japanese ability for this class.
* Because of less demand (and of the size of our operation), the Intermediate Japanese class has been discontinued. We appreciate your understanding.
Please note
-Because we would like to provide quality online classes, we may need to limit the number of students. So, please understand, that we will accept sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis.
-The class requires a minimum of 3 students. It may be canceled if the number of students is less than 3.
-Because of the nature of remote classes, students could get distracted or could need help during the class. Please make sure that a parent (or a guardian) is available during each session to help out their student in case of such events.
-Because we offer only one level of the class, the ability of Japanese comprehension may vary somewhat, some students may have a little Japanese, and some may have more. Also, please understand that there might be students of different ages in a class.
-A tuition check for the total 7 sessions needs to be mailed to us. We will email parents (guardians) the amount of the tuition and a mailing address before the first class.
-Please understand that there will be no refunds if a student decides to discontinue the class or misses any sessions.
-The deadline for sign-up will be Saturday, March 25th, 2023.
*For sign-up, please email Masako Carter at the email address below, by providing student’s name, parent/guardian’s name, student’s age/grade, home address, and phone # on which you can best be reached.
