Japanese Foreign Minister Commendation Reception (9/22/2018)
We at the JASV had the great honor to receive a Commendation Award from the Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono. The delivery ceremony took place on Saturday, 9/22/2018 at a clubhouse in South Burlington. The Consul General of Japan in Boston Rokuichiro Michi delivered it to JASV President Toshiharu Saitoh.

JASV Commendation
We at the JASV had the great honor to receive a Foreign Minister Commendation from the Japanese government. The award was to honor the JASV's long time efforts fostering mutual understanding between Vermont and Japan. The JASV owes all of Matsuri supporters thanks for their contributions.
For the cerebration of this commendation reception, we showed our appreciation at Matsuri 2019. On stage, we presented JASV commendations to a total 12 groups or individuals who have been supporting Matsuri for a long time outstandingly.
