Language Classes for Adults
Fall Session, October to December 2026
8 weekly Tuesday evening classes
Instructor Linda Sukop will offer beginning level Japanese language instruction online via Zoom. The main textbook is Japanese for Busy People I (Revised 3rd Edition). The Level 1 course covers the first half of the book.
There will be one class each week for 8 weeks, one and a half hours per lesson.
The tuition fee is $250, payable to the instructor.
Please contact the instructor for more details regarding registration, textbooks, tuition payment, etc. A course may be canceled in case of low enrollment, so please register at least one week in advance.
Class information:
Description: These online classes offer an introduction to speaking, listening, reading, and writing Japanese, with particular emphasis on the conversational patterns that are used in everyday life. Students will also learn about Japanese customs and culture.
Dates: Tuesdays, 10/20 to 12/15 (no class Thanksgiving week)
Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
