Language Classes for Adults
Spring Session, February to April 2025
Instructor Linda Sukop will offer three levels of Japanese language instruction via Zoom. The main textbook is Japanese for Busy People I, Revised 3rd Edition. The Monday Level 1 course covers the first half of the book, and the Tuesday Level 2 course covers the second half. Remembering the Kana is a supplemental writing text for Levels 1 and 2. The Wednesday Level 3 class will use Japanese for Busy People II, Revised 3rd Edition.
There will be one class each week for 10 weeks, one and a half hours per lesson.
The tuition fee is $250, payable to the instructor. Textbooks can be ordered from your local bookseller or online. Used copies are available.
A course may be canceled in case of low enrollment, so please register at least one week in advance.

Class information:
Description: These classes are an introduction to speaking, listening, reading, and writing Japanese, with particular emphasis on the conversational patterns that are used in everyday life. Students will also learn about Japanese customs and culture.
Level 1 - Mondays, 2/10 to 4/14
