Language Classes for Adults
Spring Session, February to April 2026
10 weekly evening classes
Instructor Linda Sukop will offer beginning level Japanese language instruction online via Zoom. The main textbook is Japanese for Busy People I (Revised 3rd Edition). The Level 1 course covers the first half of the book, and Level 2, the second.
There will be one class each week for 10 weeks, one and a half hours per lesson.
The tuition fee is $300, payable to the instructor.
The textbooks are Japanese for Busy People I and Remembering the Kana, a supplemental writing text.
Feel free to contact the instructor for more information regarding registration, textbooks, tuition payment, etc. The course may be canceled in case of low enrollment, so please register at least one week in advance.
Class information:
Description: These online classes offer an introduction to speaking, listening, reading, and writing Japanese, with particular emphasis on the conversational patterns that are used in everyday life. Students will also learn about Japanese customs and culture.
Level 1 - Mondays, 2/16 to 4/20
